I never thought about how many roos you have. Hows the hierarchy work? Are most of them separated?

There's 3 silkie roosters, 1 Easter Egger rooster, 2 Easter Egger cockerels, 1 Marans/Gamefowl cross, & my Project Giant silkie cockerel.

Each year the coop gets a new Alpha. I monitor everything.

but do you have 8 separate coops or do some of them get along?

They rarely have problems. I only have 3 large coops, & 1 small coop I use for acclimating chicks, brooding with hens, & breeding with.
