Seriously tho:
My mom wants more chickens (even baby chicks!!) but is vehemently against expanding our run, which would be necessary
My dad couldn't care less about the run size but is pretty set against more chickens

I had a one-on-one talk with me myself and I, and we decided that those were the breeds we would be most happy with. The only Cochin type I deem presentable (remember, I only like ornamentals) is the mottled Cochin which is sold SR only. A Faverolles is too poofy and I don’t feel like it would be very heat hardy. And Leghorns just aren’t nice enough looking (All but Tillie) (sorry )

Have them talk.

Remember that time I said my parents agreed to ducks? Well only my mom did. We had an entire plan ready before we even told my dad. We shoved everything in his face and he kinda had no choice but to agree to it.

Already getting a Splash Marans.

They are fancy but they look like they’re trying to rip-off SSs which is just not allowed in my coophold (household.)
