I’m really sad that I don’t have enough room for 7 more birds, but as long as I can get more I’m okay.

SS: Solid brown base with small white flecks, barely visible black coloring. Small comb and heavy build.

EL: Equal parts black and white (No brown!) Large comb, skinny build. More fanned out tail.

I have no idea where you're coming from

Seriously the only similar trait I can see is the single comb, and it's not even remotely the same size

Yep. Plus Meyer has no Splash Cochin, and only have the ugly varieties like White, Partridge and Blue.

They’re both spotted and that’s enough for it to look similar. That’s not a great comparison, Daisy looked a heck of a lot like that Leghorn but with a brown base. Some SS have those deep spots like that while others don’t.

Yes, but with the exchequers, there isn't a base, the colors are equal
Even on Daisy, you can say 'this is a brown chicken with white spots' and the white bits are much smaller than the brown parts.

If you were saying that a mille fleur d'uccle looked like it was imitating an SS, I'd totally agree with you, but I see absolutely no resemblance between SS and exchequer leghorns
