Coops are expensive

Tell me about it. Luckily we had a premade structure on the property. We just had to spend money on the wood and chicken wire for the run.

It comes already built, and has fantastic features like... incredible ventilation, storage, communal nest boxes, vertical space for additional roosts, will be super easy to clean, has poop boards and poop board mats, power, double doors, a chicken door, etc

ours was expensive and the person gave us the wrong set. We asked for the "medium" for our 7 chickens.. they gave us a set for the large, we didn't know this. Put together a medium, and turned around.. realised there was enough lumber for a whole nother coop..

we have one of those plastic childrens playhouse that would make an awesome bantam coop

too many chickens would only become a problem if neighbors reported us, we give them eggs, and their egg song really isn't loud enough to carry into the house (I hear it inside, but only by the windows).

well, the chickens do attract flies really bad in the summer. I guess that, and well.. it being illegal... stops us
