That's wonderful!!I visited the family farm in PA yesterday, for the first time in a few years. The farm has been in my family for over 100 years!
That's so cool!!It was my great great grandparents, then passed down. I would love to live there and help run it but with my two uncles and three cousins doing it, I would probably just be in the way. They have over 300 head of cattle but milk about 110. Primarily a dairy farm that supplies milk to Land O Lakes for butter and cheese.
Are those fancy cow breeds?They have holstein and herefords. They were able to aquire a red holstein cow and got a red calf from her so they are really excited!
Family farms are so wonderfulMan, I could talk all day about the farm, we are very proud of it, family farms are a dying breed.
