Whoops sorry! Just saw this@TheDawg can you help me ID the breeds of these two doggos that visited today? They got loose from their owner's yard this afternoon and came down the hill and started running around the property. We watched them and posted about them in FB and eventually the owner saw it and picked them up. The one on the right is a hunting dog I think, it was wearing an orange collar. The one on the left is a giant. The biggest dog I've ever seen before. HUGE. View attachment 2646602
the one on the right looks like a German Shorthaired Pointer to me. The one on the right.... not sure from the pic. Maybe an Old English Sheepdog or an LGD like a Great Pyrenees (though it’s cost/face looks a bit off for that), Maremma, or Kuvasz? Really looks like an OES to me though but I don’t think they’re usually all white nor are they huge but the fluff can make them appear a lot bigger haha the owner didn’t say what they were when they came to get them?Me too it’s amazingI would honestly buy some. No joke
Yeah that’d probably be best or just do like the 10 bar batches hahait takes up space in the kitchen, and idk, she just doesn't seem to like it much
Maybe I could just do a couple of things
and have it made to order
That’s amazingJust saw this thread for the first time! I visited the family farm in PA yesterday, for the first time in a few years. The farm has been in my family for over 100 years! It was my great great grandparents, then passed down. I would love to live there and help run it but with my two uncles and three cousins doing it, I would probably just be in the way. They have over 300 head of cattle but milk about 110. Primarily a dairy farm that supplies milk to Land O Lakes for butter and cheese. They have holstein and herefords. They were able to aquire a red holstein cow and got a red calf from her so they are really excited! Man, I could talk all day about the farm, we are very proud of it, family farms are a dying breed. Here is a picture of the red calf
the calf is so adorable!!!
And I love Land O Lakes @Kiki better not buy that one thenOh yes! Depending on where you live, the Texas Longhorn or the Highland are some rare or fancy breeds. There is even a Japanese breed called Wagyu, whose meat can cost $200 a pound! Can you imagine if you bought a steak that cost $200 then burned it on the grill?![]()

I don't think they actually have the real Japanese cows here in the United States.
Probably not!! I was mostly just messing with you though since you like your steak burntI don't think they actually have the real Japanese cows here in the United States.
There are registered Wagyu here. I've been rolling over getting some in my mind. Still undecided.I don't think they actually have the real Japanese cows here in the United States.
