My religion prohibits getting vaccines. Its an unknown substance that could contain anything going into my body.

I have one question, though. If you were to get something like Diabetes that required a daily injection, how would you go about it?

I'm reasonably sure that one can find the exact contents of insulin online somewhere, if they aren't on the packaging -- due to the fact that synthetically produced insulin for injections is made up of different chemicals/compounds/etc. in order to copy the function of naturally produced insulin, there could easily be something that would cause a negative reaction in some people. They need to make people aware of it.
Then again, the same goes for vaccines, I suppose. Unlike vaccines, though, insulin is, I believe, a set formula -- they aren't experimenting with new combinations and germs, because it's a different kind of injection and has a set, unchanging quota to fulfill.

I think so. Before the synthetic stuff, they actually originally used horse and pig pancreases and ground them up to extract the insulin for use in humans. I think that you can still find out how to do it, which is neat as all get out. I should look it up.

Oh yeah! I remember that now too. I’m sure if someone didn’t want to use insulin injections they could just grind up pancreases.

Exactly. Syringe it in the old-fashioned way, instead of a pen.
