I have two brooders. It's more the coop space that I need to find for any chicks that I hatch... though I do hope to be giving away some older hens within a month or so.

Did you make the cages? Sorry, being nosy.

Not exactly. I've acquired them. Some are supposed to be "rabbit" cages, but they would NOT be suitable for a rabbit to live in. Almost no cage is. I also have a few dog cages, and a puppy cage which I use for crate training young puppies. Then I also have a double dog house cage thing. I did put hardware cloth on them all my self though.

One thing I've been trying to figure out, is where to get actual poultry cages.

Freya is doing very well! She was nervous and skittish for a couple days, but not anymore! She likes to meet people.

We went to visit friends on Saturday. Freya met them and their dog. Both dogs liked each other and played very well together. Great visit, great day.
