We have been getting snow off, & on.
We got a lot of snow here! This was yesterday.

Oh that's super cool!
Have you tried teaching him any whistle recall? My dogs come more readily to that than anything, I think they think it's a fun sound, lol!
What scent are you training him on?
I'm glad he's doing well, that's awesome!
He sort of knows a whistle recall inside the house, but I don't use it to formally call him, and he doesn't react to a whistle outside.
We're doing birch to start, because that's the first scent in AKC scent work trials. In the future I'll probably do a cocktail, because to pass the odor recognition test to compete in NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work) you need birch, anise, and clove.
I'm taking a course with Fenzi dog sports academy, which I am loving.

I have some new birds too!
We also bred our lab this past spring and she had two pups! I'm not sure if I ever posted about that or not. We kept her female and sold the other, a male, to dad's cousin.

We use a dog whistle for ours instead of just whistling by mouth.
Oh that's so cool! I always wanted to do tests like that with our dogs.
I think doing a field trial someday would be so fun.
