Meyers do small orders also. And I believe there's others that are also doing so now.
I don't mess with that because the shipping fees on small orders are ridiculous. Last I looked you could pretty much get the normal minimum with shipping for about the same.
I'd go that route and sell the extras on CL and end up with the few I wanted free.

I’d love to do that, but don’t have space for a big enough brooder and my parents won’t want to use CL. Also, there aren’t many chicken people in my area, so it could be difficult to sell them all, and we only have enough space for what we’d order.

Hot glue was alittle challenging.
