I stayed on a stubborn horse while on a trail ride. Her name was Snippy. She was rearing up, & being all sorts of a brat. It was like a mini rodeo.
I think I was 11yrs old when that happened. It was when I was living in Oregon.

Well it's better than me being like 'oh yeah he's somewhere from 8-17 hands' so i think that I did at least mildly ok

Hands is how you measure the height of horses. I don't have a good scale reference in my head, though, so I don't know what's big and whats small.
