But I just love the way the black/barring feather looks so I also wanna make some that look like that. I also may breed this black ameraucana/cuckoo maran mix to her so I can make some bearded/muffed chicken with barring. He doesn’t have good cuckoo color though so I guess I will just have to see how bad it effects the barring. I will get updated photos tomorrow. He’s 2 months. I’m guessing that when he's mature she will finally be laying.View attachment 2421686
