Calves is plural.
Calf is singular.

Betta fins normally grow back on their own fine. It's always risky giving medication to fish as they're such delicate creatures.
What do the fins look like? Are they torn? Do they have any signs of rot?
They are very susceptible to fin rot once they have been torn.

It’s been about 2 weeks and they’ve shown no growth so I figured this was needed. I have him in a smaller tank while I clean out his old one (he normally lives in a 5 gallon tank). I’ll get a pic of his fins.
