Can you just have cows, for like, cow purposes? Of being cows? And chilling in fields? Maybe for milk? But mostly for cows?

Yes, you can have cows for pets. We've had people buy calves from us for pets. A horse would be a more expensive pet than a cow.

What tells you that's a male?
Males have a distinct row of pre anal pores in front of their vent

Mini cows that give free milk. This is amazing. *begins fiendishly researching how to care for cows*

How about a mini Jersey? We've got mostly Jerseys. Good cows. Also, not quite free milk. Hay and grain costs $$.
