Farm chatter

Wow! What do you do with the eggs?
I want to sell them, but my dad keeps giving them away free to his friends. Only 1 person comes by once every other week to buy a dozen, or two, but that's it.

maybe you can talk your dad into charging them grocery store prices. then the friends arent spending any extra but you are getting something towards covering care costs.
I agree. It’s not fair he just gives them away like that

Beautiful!
thank you! it's the hem of a dress for a historical group I'm part of. the premise is pretty much using historically information to inspire something, so it doesn't have to be 100% accurate. like this color wouldnt have existed in ancient Greece. and they honestly wouldnt have done embroidery...the design would have been woven into the cloth when the cloth was made on the loom, but I dont have a floor loom so this is my approximation of it
the Greek key pattern is traditional, the oak leaves are inspired by traditional patterns but adapted because my camps thing is oak leaves.

One of my older pullets was in the egg box earlier, so I was expecting a egg. I was definitely not expecting to get three!! My first eggs are so pretty!
