It’s unclear what happens but my theory is he was hit by a car. They found him at a gas station on death’s door. He was sick and dying for over a year before we fostered him before and after his amputation then forced to rescue him because if we hadn’t then we wouldn’t be allowed to take him to the vet and he would probably be dead within a couple weeks due to infections.

Buddy. We were trying to think of another name but since we had to call him something while choosing one we just called him that. Eventually it stuck anyway so that’s his name.
