Jellybean laid yet another shell-less egg (on the roof of the coop of course ) it's only her second one and it's been well over a month or two since the last but I'm worried anyway. I can think of no reason for this to happen. @aart

I don’t think you should worry too much. On the roof?!

My chickens are dumb they lay eggs on the roof of the coop. Somehow the dont roll off. it’s like they’ve learned how to both increase their dumbness and defy gravity at the same time.

They don't have long, visible spines like a lot of cacti typically have. Instead they have dots all over them, and each of these dots has a small cluster of tiny micro-spines that can't be seen unless you look really closely. If you search up "spineless prickly pear cactus," you'll see what I mean by the dots.

Yep.
I have a cactus like that but ouch the spikes are everywhere.

I keep going back and forth on samoyeds because on the one hand they are fluffy cloud dogs, are of a great size, are high energy but not insane, and are smart, but on the other hand they're independant, stubborn, and expensive
I keep telling myself that I wouldn't like their temperament, but then I see pictures
