Right across from the green peafowl pens is a big hoof stock pen for donkeys, a cow, and sheep.

Look how bright that yellow on these Spalding white and Spalding pied peacocks faces, especially at molting season, I wish mine had half that yellow lol.


Nice pictures, please keep posting, i would love to see more pictures. I don't know which green subspecies are my favorite since I can't really tell the difference, but I like this specifier peacock from their photo album, i feel he is different.

Not only the bright orange .... but the blue on the face ... too !



I want to see a white spalding with blue and orange face !

It was great I really hope I can get a bird from there this year. Last year I planned on getting some young green peafowl from Rocking BAB but it didn't work out. Hopefully this will be the year I can finally get some green peafowl. I already have a name picked out for a green male. My mom is the main person I am trying to convince.

I am working on editing a video I took while there. Photos can't exactly show the setup as well as a video so I took photos and did a video.

You're gonna say I make an obsession on the pants ... but pants say a lot about the purity of green peacocks .... here there are several colors.
Brown + black ... it 's doubtful ! ...especially if it's an adult.
Light brown + black is a Spalding!



For me it's a Spalding split pied .... patch on the head and on the throat.

I was wondering if he was a spalding. That is an interesting way to tell the purity of the bird. I think you might be the first person I have seen mention that so thank you!

I will have to go back through my pictures and zoom in on the ones I was wondering about.

In other news I might be able to get a green peacock from Josh soon-ish. As long as my parents don't change their mind. Tonight I asked them if once I finish the pen I can get green peafowl to put in there and my mom shrugged but my dad was asking why I couldn't just wait for them because there will always be green peafowl available and he compared them to coon dogs and how he could always find the dogs he was wanting without having to get them right away. Greens go fast though and I have already been waiting...and waiting...and waiting for several years. You all are so lucky to be able to even have around 20 peafowl. I have stayed around having 7 peafowl for a while and if I want just two more I have to beg. The dog has more luck begging than I do! I am happy with the birds I have so don't get me wrong I love them and I am grateful...I just really want a green peafowl pair.
