Is a used one worth $75? I had someone offer a used one. She said it works well. For a first incubator, is it worth it?

I have one I bought new that I use Constantly. It’s ok 24/7 most of the year. I have a decent hatch rate with it (85-90%) usually. You Do have to make sure it’s in a room with a constant temp though, no breezes or anything.

It prob be set in the garage, which is heated/cooled all year round. So that wouldn't be a problem. Usually stays around 72 degrees give or take. The lady said it works. What's the best way to test that it actually does? She going to give me some silkie eggs too and some from her maran flock. Does the $75 sound like a fair deal? It has egg turner too.

I paid $130 for mine new. As far as testing that it actually works, I don’t know. :\
