Good luck with your new incubator!
Thanks!
When you're waiting for eggs to hatch, all of a sudden 3 weeks becomes a reeeeeeeeeally looooooong wait! lol

I worked on building a chicken tractor/pasture pen this evening. I just have to put the doors/lids on it tomorrow. I'll probably take turns letting chicks and ducklings help finish it...

. ...but it will be for the Red Rangers. I built my brooders I needed....3 - 3ft by 5 ft ones....and 2 - 3ft by 8ft ones. It's going to be weird when every thing is out of them. Oh wait, I'm firing up an incubator too....BWAHAHAHA...lol. ...and hopefully my broody hen will go broody....lol. ....sad no more chicks in the feeds stores, but there is always the hactheries....hehehehe.
Now you're talking like a real chicken addict!

Good thing summer is just starting!! That's what I keep telling myself. lol I still have all kinds of time left to hatch and find chicks homes before fall.

Makes me want to get another kitten. My little "Rat" has outgrown her baby stage. She's probably 6-7 months old now. No one really knew how old the litter was when they were rescued.

a couple from from today...part 1.

Barred Rock. I believe rooster....real tame. a little over a month old. I have 3 of these that I think are roosters.

Columbian Wyandotte pullets. almost a month old.

Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets. almost a month old

Buff Orpington pullets. almost a month old

Speckled Sussex pullets. almost a month old.

Don't know for sure about the others, but that barred rock is definitely a male!

Mutant mini

And, just because I can...and I am proud...

My farm girl...who graduates in less than a month, talking to her chickens.

Buffy the Slayerr
One of the very few pictures I've edited.

This is Indiana Jones, aka Bozo. lol

Buffy's mom, Springs Request

It was a little bit cold.

I love Canadian geese. They're so pretty.

Czar the goat. His best friend was a National Show Horse gelding named Spirit (first time I rode him, he dumped me in the dirt. I had dirt in my ears, wasn't pretty.

). They lived in the same stall and were turned out together. When Spirit went to shows, Czar went with him. lol Spirit passed away a couple years back..

Czar now has a goat buddy.

Can't remember the name of this guy... He is a very tall Holsteiner gelding. Came from Germany, was probably started under saddle way too early and quickly. The owners had all sorts of problems with him. He ended up going to a nice home with people that could work on his issues and help him become a model citizen.

That's it for now.

Nice pics everybody! Aoxa, Margaret is beautiful!

Some shots of our cattle a ranch hand round up for shots:

One cow got stuck in a stream:

My cutting/roping horse, Stewball (the paint). Pepper is the one in front, my sister's horse:

Skittles, the BEST. ROO. EVER.

Don't know for sure about the others, but that barred rock is definitely a male!
Thanks for the input, aoxa! The other two are exact carbon copies of this one. This one just runs to my hand when I put it in their box. Not sure on what kind of quality these roosters will be, but I want to keep one of these Barred Rock ones. I'm carrying this one around a lot in hopes to keep it nice like I did my RIR rooster I have. I didn't do anything with the other RIR rooster I raised and he turned out pretty mean.

Great photos, aoxa! So far I've brought home 3 rabbits and all happen to be females, but might raise some someday! Your chicks have really grown! I could wrestle a pup like Henry all day long...lol.

Reina Rana - Great photos! Good to see some fine looking ducks!

Sanna - great photos! I really like Canadian geese also! I had two in the pasture by my cows yesterday...I took pics. If some one read that fast enough, they might think Czar the goat dumped you in the dirt the first time you rode him instead of his horse friend...

.

I like those Hereford cows, TheCrazyClucker! Great photos!

Great Photos, Bush Chickens! Looks like I might have some of the same breeds of chicks as you, at almost the same stage also.
