Just the most awesome roo! (And looks like he knows it!)

Thanks:D .
He is truly wonderful. I wrote his whole life story here on BYC several months ago. It actually made POW! I can find it for you or anyone else if they are interested?

Please post the name of the thread. Thanks!

Oh and here are a few recent pictures I have taken...

Wow, you must have dangerous chickens if your kids have to wear helmets around them!! .....just kidding! I see the bike in the background, I just couldn't resist. :)

I also love the fuzzy butts photo and I've been looking at a lot of blue laced red chickens lately; is that a Wyandotte? Very pretty.

In the evening when the sun has just the right glow it can make the eggs look luminous. This was taken in about 2009 with my old Samsung. I have a Sony 5n now and I can't wait to recreate some of these photos with it.

The below photo was taken with the same camera but early afternoon. I love the shadow play.

It's trying to be Spring in New Mexico

Taken today when there was a break in the clouds. I wish y'all could hear the happy bees in the tree!
Nice! New Mexico looks so scenic but I've never been there. Happy bees, happy honey!!

I feel bad for those who had a really hard time this season but for our area I was glad to get a decent cold winter. For those of us in hot regions, I KNOW that before too long we'll be wishing for the cooler weather again.

Those ears!!!! <3 good job "papa"!

. I believe I have them trained to go eat and return to their hot box now when done. Boy it's been a worrisome deal....lol. I imagine pig math will set in....

3 acres tell those little pork pies to be gentle, mama hurts - a spa treatment would probably make her feel better.

Rocker hen that cat/dog picture is beautiful, they both look so in tune with each other

Pascha make sure you little duckling is warm enough while waiting for his siblings to hatch. And please use a wire top on his box, so he has ventilation and enough air to breathe. I worry for the whole world so you don't have to.
