So adorable. I want some geese but can't have any right now. <sigh> one day
Here i must to wait too - i want to buy some new chikens (leghorn, here in the Rusia this chikens are very popular), but the farmers who sold me another chikens don`t take a mobil-phones (or they are too busy, or they don`t have now any chikens for sell. Last spring they entered to my village and sell the chikens, but now they don`t return and the phone is switched off).

Now i have only 5 hen and one very old cock, he are really old and the eggs are always unfertilized, i can`t get a new chikens! I need to buy one new cock too). I find some another messages in the Internet, but they are far (in another side of Moscow), and i will wait when will be a warm weather for travel to there (for me the weather in not important, but the chikens need a warm air). I will not use a car, to go from my village to Moscow, and trough the Moscow to another village - i will stand in the traffic jams. I will use a train, but if i will go to the train i need a warm weather for young chikens. I can only wait...
The geese are very funny, but they shout loudly. I hope my neighbours will not be angry ))) Now i have 17 adult geeses and 2 very young geeses. And all muy ducks are okay too. I need to buy the more turkey and some quail too. When the winter will be over? We have only + 5 C and the snow melt very slowly...

Those pencilled...Wyandottes? Are amazing! The second shot I genuinely had thought you had edited it.lol.

They are Silver Pencil Rocks... I currently have 5 hens, hatched middle of last May... 3 of the 5 are broody already, these 2 pictured hatched the same day and the 3rd is due this Saturday. No editing done other than some cropping and minor lighting fix since the coop lighting isn't too great for pics.

Some photos from around the farm. (And a few from our newest batch of chicks at home.)

( ^ I was very surprised when I got this one. The spots are unedited.)

Newest turkey poult with his-count them-FOUR mothers. The silkie mix has taken it upon herself to be the 'main' mother. More should be hatching soon.

Large flocks of yellow-rumped warblers and cedar waxwings passed trough this weekend to feast on cedar berries.

Pretty little 5 month old pullet.

My favorite cow. She loves to be scratched and petted.
