"That's my egg." Penelope the white Leghorn stated. "No, that's my egg!" Priscilla adamantly replied. They went back and forth for several minutes. Penelope even said, "Priscilla, your eggs are small. That can't be yours!" Meanwhile, Elvis the Rooster thought.

haha, please tell me this story to my ducks ))). They don`t think about that. I have one old shed, there are some hay, and the door always are open. Well, there in the picture are two eggs of the chikens, and one egg... of the duck! And the turkey go to this shed too. They put the eggs there and nobody sit on the eggs. Maybe they knows that i have one incubator

But they walk together and always speak about someting. And when i tell to they "kveeee!" they always answer me. I have a very sociable and talkative ducks ))) And of course the geese, chikens and turkey too )))
 
It look more like the egg is being examined by the rooster.

"How is this one sir?" The WLH asks.
"hmm. Satisfactory!" he exclaimed "Take it to the incubation room"
Brahma secretary picks it up and takes the egg to the incubation room.
Well well well, is no longer fashionable to take an egg in a nest, sit on it and hatch - now they begin to use an incubator. What a lazy chikens, lol
