I’m having a really rough week. Spent several hours at the ER Tuesday night and then again on Wednesday. Thought I might have another DVT Tuesday but tests were negative. Wednesday had cardiac symptoms but all those tests were normal range. Still having numbness/tingling/burning pain in both hands and forearms, which has started shooting all the way up behind my shoulder blade on the right side. It was bad enough when I was at the hospital they gave me morphine and a muscle relaxer.

Seeing a cardiologist on Tuesday to make sure they can’t find anything wrong, and a neurosurgeon on Friday. Then my PCP the Tuesday after that.

Can barely sleep. Not even taking 10mg Hydrocodone. Really hope they figure something out soon.

Sorry to hear your not willing well. I have restless leg syndrome but it also affects my arms and torso with spasms and pain. My legs have evil neuropathy it’s like ants crawling up my legs amd also my arms.

Have you tried Pregabalin? It will work better than an opioid. Though I also take that (tramacet) for the pain and spasms. Right now I am just aching and legs spasming. Is yours worse at night when sleeping amd when resting while sitting? Might be restless leg syndrome.

Sorry to hear your not willing well. I have restless leg syndrome but it also affects my arms and torso with spasms and pain. My legs have evil neuropathy it’s like ants crawling up my legs amd also my arms.

Have you tried Pregabalin? It will work better than an opioid. Though I also take that (tramacet) for the pain and spasms. Right now I am just aching and legs spasming. Is yours worse at night when sleeping amd when resting while sitting? Might be restless leg syndrome.

I already take 1600 mg daily of Gabapentin for my fibromyalgia. That is part of what is so frustrating. I am already taking the maximum dose of what they would normally give me for these symptoms.

It is definitely worse in late afternoon and into the night.

So sorry to hear that. Sounds like it could be your neck. Did anyone x-ray your spine?

I was fortunate last week in that I was 90% sure what was wrong with me by the time I got to the ER. It still took many hours before I got anything for the pain.
