3 Sorry I wrote so loudly, I have a dickens of a time with the size, every time I go to pick one it disappears, so I just click at anything. My glasses aren't much help, reading this size isn't easy.

It's all good! I figured it was an accident or cattle twins REALLY excite you...

On a normal day, I go to the grocery store, bank, etc, in my barn outfit.

I don't have time to change! I get lots of funny looks. LOL I do wear clean human clothes on my days off though...most of the time. Often, I'm still in the barn on my days off too. Just can't win. lol
lol... I called in sick the other day...then had to call myself to come in to cover me calling in sick...

. I think 2004 was the last time someone has done a chore for me. There's just enough people around here that wear cowboy hats that me wearing one to town doesn't get too much attention....it does sometimes from little town kids I guess....I do take off the chicks though if I am wearing them that day. I would find it neat to see someone wearing the English riding clothes that you wear....I'd be like....Hey, they ride horses!!

Maybe we should keep a bottle of fabreeze on us at all times or in the vehicle at least...

3 weren't your twins born black, now it looks like they are turning brown? Maybe it's just in the sun light. Brown is a good color too. Hey mama sow has a right to lay around - try nursing all those piglets- who probably have little razors for teeth. Mama's are so good at what they do, it just looks easy.

Honestly, I get some really weird looks sometimes. Like the kinds of looks that people just don't understand what I'm wearing. LOL I just think it's funny now. Makes you wonder what kind of a world those people live in. They must be missing out on all the beautiful things nature has to offer, such as farm animals, if they don't know what a rider looks like.

Oh, and wouldn't be the first time I've sprayed myself with Febreze!

The life of a momma swine...

I love these! The face on that little calf...my goodness!

Those little piglets got BIG. And the flowers are gorgeous!

This is a poor quality picture, took it with my cell phone...but I thought it was funny enough to share. lol
This is my LF Orpington rooster Oliver...sleeping in a nesting box. lol He used to sleep up on the perch with the girls but he now prefers the bottom row nesting boxes.

And he usually rests his head on the edge like this. lol

Think Oliver would love a wattles cushion, so he doesn't get crease marks from resting like that. Does he poo in the nest box or if he welcome there?

:lau. Oliver does not want all the ladies drama.

3acres.... I do love all of the farm pictures, but of your last batch these really stood out (to me).... I love the focus effect of the 1st one, the color tones and subject of the feed trough picture is perfect, the eyelashes of the bottle calf are just adorable and the flower shadows and color tone are just gorgeous! I don't have a farm myself... just my dogs, cats and chickens at the moment, but your pictures and many of the others on this thread are what makes it worth the effort to strive for the independence and other awards of farming life, despite the incredible work that goes with it!
