LOL If it's not the horse stink,
Horses don't stink. I love horse smell. But then, I don't have one - if I did, I might change my mind.

I work in a barn with 50-something horses and I'm around them all day, every day. Sometimes it develops into a stink and I find myself thinking "Man, I don't smell too good". LOL But generally, I love the horse smell as well.

Years ago we had an upside down thistle feeder. It's funny but, some birds knew just what to do instantly. They would just flip upside down on the perch and eat away. The chickadees and gold finches loved it. But it was a cheaply made feeder (tho it cost plenty) and just "bleed" seeds out all the time. I was worried about attracting mice etc. so took it down. It was so cool though to watch the birds use it.

Wish I had, had a camera at that time.

Schipperkes!

My posse dog, Sparkie, was a Schip. Diva, you got it right: A big dog in a little dog suit. And they last seeming forever provided no misadventure happens. Sparkie was with me for 17 years through two marriages and five moves and had a really funny opinionated personality. I miss her. My floors miss her, too, as she was a great little kitchen shark.

Peep Show - 17 is a good life but, with dogs, even that isn't enough. My last 4 cockers - 2 made it to 14 years and 2 almost 14 1/2 but, that's only the blink of an eye. They were great floor sharks too and sometimes table surfers ,if no one was around. We had a Sparkle F*rts and she did!!
