Wonderful! Please keep me up to date on their personalites and also their laying abilities when they start to lay. I have been thinking about getting a couple for white eggs as we have no white layers and I also would like a couple campines and Buttercups. But anyway I've been on the fence about the Andalusians BC of their temperaments and also everyone seems to have a different opinion about their cold hardiness. Thanks look forward to updates on them :) and trust me I completely understand chicken math. We started ordering 5 and we currently have 33 :)

I don't know how much of a cold hardiness tester I'll be. I live in Washington and our weather very rarely goes below 32 degrees. We sometimes will get a week in the 20's. right now they are in an outside coop, temps in the lows 40's at night and high 50's during the day doing just fine. I meant to say that the grey ones are friendly now too. My Andelusians are friendlier than my SLW and GLW!

My slw aren't very friendly either. They come when called great(real chow hounds) but they just don't really care for being touched or handled much even though I have a couple that follow me around like puppy dogs.
That's okay you can let me know how their temperaments are and how they lay. Or stick one in the freezer for a while ;) jk jk I would never

Fancy! I like!

Okay so where are you located jw. Cemanis are on our dream list to get. And I am familiar with the prices I'm just kinda curious about how far they'd have to be shipped im in southern WI. It probably won't be an option for a couple of years yet though. But ya never know ;)

If you were asking me, I'm in VT :)

My Black Australorp pullets. They are all 5 months old and I have about 5 or 6 already laying eggs. I have 24 Black Australorp pullets. No cockerels or roosters yet.

Building my White peafowl coop. It's next to my Indian Blue peafowl's coop. Just have to put chicken wire in and wait for the grass seed to germinate and then my 4 young peafowl can be moved in here.
They look like theoldchick's red wattle gang!
