So big now!

It's crazy isn't it!!! I'm so glad I have them! ...they are a blast! Take my eyes, but not my ducks!....lol.

...I went ahead and planned ahead...it's ready and waiting for me...

Very pretty. I like that first one a lot.

Yeah, that's what's going to happen to me if I keep all the chicks!! I'll be living under a bridge with my 4 cats and a gazillion chickens, because I'll get kicked out of my little house and the farm will fire me for hoarding chickens.

Yup, the new bator is running and I moved my Silkie eggs in there. I started them in the styrofoam incubator that belongs to the farm. About 2 weeks left to go!
Here it is, in all it's glory!

Thanks! Boy that looks like a real nice incubator! Good Luck to you! Sounds like you will have a very good success rate! I, on the other hand probably won't...lol. Here's mine in all it's thrown togetherness won't hatch a thing glory...

The only thing I need to do is put the site window in and I have another weapon for chicken poorness! ...and mess with the screen the eggs will be on and of course add and take away stuff as needed to get the temp and humidity right. I'm excited! Also just waiting a little for everything I have right now to be all out in their outside pens. Hopefully I'll be hatching chicks, ducklings and turkey poults in the future!

I have a little addiction you can say

Those look awesome! That's a lot of egg hatching capability!....

. I'd love to have something like those someday! So easy to get addicted on all this, because it is all so fasinating, IMO. I could list a list a mile long! Not sure if you have ever admitted maybe having an addiction before, aoxa, but you might of just there, I've done it too, but we need to keep from doing it.....haha...

Oh and very cute bunny! They had a long haired one the other day at a pet store shaved to look like a lion....it was AWESOME!!! Why it isn't here, I don't know....lol.

Gibby, my new Duroc/Hampshire barrow I got last night! I'll get better pictures! ...and I think I have a boar for my gilt! Still on it's mom right now at where I got Gibby. It's a reg Berkshire. I can't believe the cuteness of all the baby pigs I seen and petted last night! I can't wait to get him also!

Hey, I put a goose egg in the incubator today! And guess who gave it to me? My boss. She comes walking into the barn and says "I got something for you." And I'm thinking, now what. We've had such a rough morning today and I was sure it was just another job to add to my never ending list of jobs for the day. But she pulls out this big goose egg and says "Put this in your incubator!" with this smirk on her face.

So I put the egg in the incubator. lol I don't know if it's fertile. We have all kinds of geese and ducks in a large pen together. If the egg will ever hatch, it'll have to be a Sepastobol or a mix of Canadian Goose and "Who's Your Daddy?" dad. I'm thinking the last option because our Canadian Goose Candy has been spending an awful lot of time in their building, nesting. I bet it's her egg.
Okay, I'm done blabbing now.
