I don't remember if I posted this yet or not. These are the first chicks of the year out of the eggs my boss had in the incubator. Two silly Silkies and rest are mixes. Dad is a New Hampshire Red and moms are RIR's and some buff mixes. lol

The little baby chickies have moms now. I gave the 5 day old chicks to our Silkie hens that are now fighting over the one single chick that hathed last night. I started with 1 broody hen and 4 eggs....now I have 4 broody hens.

But now! We have very happy babies and mommies.

I thought this one was dead. It was laying there with it's eyes closed...I lifted the hens wing, poked at the chick and nothing. Then the hen moved and the chick popped up looking all confused.

I think the little thing was so happy to have a mom to sleep under, it was sleeping like a log.

Hi all! Sanna introduced me to this thread. Looks fun. I have PLENTY of farm photos to share with you. I will try to space it out so as to not bombard you with too many pix!

I love instagram! I am a pro photographer, but take as many goofy photos I can with my phone to keep me sane!

Since we just did bunnies...
Check out my Frankle with his step kids. (he's not the daddy, but shh... he doesn't know ;) )

I had to take these from a distance, because Frankle is very jumpy, so the quality sucks, but the cuteness is all there so it cancels it out :p

and two of Henry because he is cute too.
