I don`t have any special place for the young chicken, but i build one by muself. There are 3 places 84х47 (i was an old bookcase, after some modification i can leave there my young fowl. In the past spring there lived my ducks, turkey and geese - 2 day old and older, they lived there some weeks). In the future i will buy anything normal (brooder), but now i use this old bookcase - there are the lamps now. I have only one problem - the bookcase are wood, and i must always to look at it for don`t have any problems width the hot lamps - i don`t need the fire.

I think to begin this work in the begin of the spring (now it`s very cold here). We have some problems width the electric power - it`s gone. I use for that my generators (when i need i use a big generator, when i rest i use little - for some lamps only).
I think that i will don`t have any problems width the fowl, for example if i will get too much chiken-boys in the spring, i can eat some in the autumn or later.

My 6000 Vatt generator (today we don`t have the electric power and i use it)

I use big generator in the day (when i do something and need the power), and the 2000 Vatt generator i use in the night (for some lamps, regrigerator...)

It was the water for my geeses (i wash and change it every day), but this morning i have seen:

The frost... I leaved there one pail (and i change it when there begin to be too much ice):
