Can't wait for Easter! The day before we are getting chicks and the day of i might go to Boston to meet my god father who is on vacation! I haven't seen him for 7 years because he and his wife and kid live in England like the rest of my family.

They don't let them spend Easter with their family? That doesn't seem fair to me! Easter is family time... not war time.

The deployment is not for war. Yes it sucks they are taking them away the day before easter. My kids are really bummed out. 6 months. Here is what it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missions_of_the_United_States_Coast_Guard

EDIT: Easter should be family time, not war go-on-protection-duty time. Not saying anything bad about the Marines or anything...
Anyways, my doe, Cocoa, is going to have a kid! Vet checked her, and he said she'll most likely kid in the late spring. So excited!
