i know chickens can do it with out real problems but i was wondering about ducks cuz Austin my black swedish drake has been mating with his daughter Bashful and was wonding if i could hatch her eggs?

I had the same question but was told by a few breeders that it is ok for parents and children to mate for up to six generations then it's time to bring in new blood.

as of right now i only have 1 black swedish hen and then her daughter who is a black swedish mix so im keeping all the girl ducks i hatch out this year for more hens next year or later on this year i'll start selling my duckling even tho be really hard cuz soo darn cute just had a muscovy black swedish mix with a big afro on her head like her daddy austin
