Anyways, i had a coffee cup in my hand, and then he was at the ER for a split head and stitches...(had to lie to the ER folks, and say he fell so i didnt go to jail..lol. NOt sure they believed the story either, i got the hairy eyeball from the doc a few times that night.. )

That was the last bit of nasty mouth my husband EVER said to me... EVEN if i DID deserve it..

#1 because its not in his personality to be disrespectful to women..
#2 He saw real quick that i was not the one to try it out on...

I dont know.. i cant STAND when i see women being abused... (yes, he was being abusive to you Steph)...Why do you stay?

I am very sorry that this happened to you. That is aweful.

You do not deserve that. You are beautiful the way you are. If you are comfortable with yourself, that is all that matters. Don't let somebody tell you how to look or how live your life. And never for one second live your life for somebody else. I can only imagine how you must have felt when he said that to you. And to keep saying it is very sad.

You know, we pick our partners for who they are. He has now shown a very undesirable side of himself. If it were me, I would be thinking long and hard about whether I wanted to stay and see if it happened again. For better for worse does NOT include abuse. What did his daughter say?? If I had seen something like that, I would have tossed my iced tea in his face right then and there.
