We just got a Faverolle rooster and we are wondering if we can breed them with the Rhode Island Red hens?

Yes, there shouldn’t be any problems with breeding them, I dont know what the chick outcome would be though. I’ve often wondered about chicken mixes

There's no problem with crossbreeding those two. You'll produce some interesting looking babies though.

Yes, you can. The male offspring will probably be silver with excessive red leakage and patchy black chests. The female offspring will probably be silver with red leakage.
