Yes. That's him. I love him too. He is a great flock leader. He avoids fighting, except when absolutely neccessary to protect his girls. Some roosters (his father) go out of the way to start fights and wont stop once they start. Another excellent reason to add brahma blood to your flock.

X2. Brahma & Brahma mixes are the best. My Spider (L.B. x 1/8 Ameraucana) has been #1 dude on the scene for 3 years now and he is absolutely priceless. Just a smooth 5☆ rooster all the way.

Someone here crossed Brahmas with ameraucanas. Not easter eggers, actual americans, blues and blacks. Those things were freakin' adorable!

Mix of blue orpington, easter egger, and dark brahma:

Then I crossed him with his favorite naked neck hen and got this beautiful guy on the right:

I also crossed him to a legbar and back to a brahma and got a male & female of each cross. Here is the legbar cross male with a brahma cross female:

I also have several brahma and langshan crosses. I don't think you can go wrong with a brahma cross.

I think you might get something like this one. He is a full brother to the 1st rooster above.
I sold him and wished I had not. His coloring is closer to the favorelles.
