Faverolles Thread!

Iv'e got a few.
Love them, they're comedy in chicken form.

They're all sweet I think I've got thirteen girls and two roosters out there now and everyone except the one laying on the ground is fully down to snuggle.
The ground girl is Lulu she's the old lady of the bunch and she's huge and insanely poofy so of course she would be the one that hates it.
She will sit on my arm like the world's fanciest falcon so I guess I'm lucky she humors me at least that much.

Are all your birds SFs? They sound like lovely and gorgeous birds!! I am fully expecting my SF to want to cuddle!! So she better get that memo...so far she isn't very into that idea haha.

Nope, the majority are though.
I've got the Faverolles, two Dominiques, a speckled Sussex, a favacauna and two mixes of the favs with the doms and the SS.
And I think I've got ten brahmas now, somebody abandoned a chick shipment at the post office so I took them.
I'm no expert but I'm guessing that's what they are.
The favs are my heart though.
The cuddles are on their terms, seriously one day they just decide you're going to cuddle them.
I've got one named Squirrelly that absolutely hated me, screamed bloody murder if I picked her up.
One day she came up and pulled at my nightgown repeadly and hard until I finally had enough and picked her up.
Since then she walks right up and waits for her cuddle.
They're weird birds, lots of fun but weird.

Are all your birds SFs? They sound like lovely and gorgeous birds!! I am fully expecting my SF to want to cuddle!! So she better get that memo...so far she isn't very into that idea haha.

I love fun, but weird chickens I mean, I have Polish chickens AND silkies...so weird, but fun is clearly in my wheelhouse! I hope mine decide to be like good SFs and cuddle! I just love sweet and cuddly chickens.

Sounds like you have some pretty birds! Squirrelly is a great name hehe! We have a Squeakers (his crow sounds like a squeaky toy) and a Little Dude. Hehe.

I do worry about folks that think they're just chickens with all the accessories.
I mean those toes alone kinda give a heads up on the weird.
