I was sure you were gonna say they were both boys because of the dark color on the wings.

Most girls have a few darker outer wing feathers which can be scary at first. You can only really tell when the upper wing feathers start really coming in.

Wow that must have been a real shock. I am really excited for the cockerels to come back tomorrow! Hope the birds you hatched from Peter and doing well and growing.

Haha glad it was a boy to. That would have been bizzare had it been a really dark pullet.

Haha this story reminds me of the hermaphrodite pullet I sent Dick. Pullet colored with saddle feathers and tail feathers starting to sprout. She died though.

Yeah didn't do the best job describing it. That was one crazy bird.
