The brinsea is the best by far and the Hovabator is ok the temperature in the upstairs of my house changes about 10 degrees every night during the spring and winter. During the summer it stays more steady. The LG is just terrible!

I will remember that next time. My son's clock goes tick tick tick, and the alarm is a rooster crow. They can get started early listening to that.

Thats a great idea Dick!

Its day 10 on the first of the two BBS sets I have put in so far out of the 5 viable eggs I collected all 5 are showing movement now its a waiting game! I might do one more small one before I collect eggs for Cindy Maybe 6-8 eggs. So I have a total of 18 BBS eggs in the bators now. I am betting I will get close to 100% fertility with this second set of 13 the first set was spotty because they had just been moved in with the males and we were traveling.

Hey Dick, this fall I can set you up with some blacks if you still want them. Let me know what you want. If you are overwhelmed with salmon eggs you can send them my way.

No blacks yet. I need to see how much room I'm going to have. I have lot of chicks to move out.
Dick

Dick,
How old are the chicks? and are they roosters or chickens, or too eairly to tell ?

I'm looking for some chickens.

Thanks
