Faverolles Thread

wow, does that boy look hefty! light color on the wing bows. find a girl that is dark enough to pair him with and it may improve in his offspring's color. check out Peter Merlin's website, he has a great list of what to look for in male/female colors to breed and get good offspring!

others on this thread may be better help to you on this, but he looks like he will be able to produce some decent size offspring!

He is a big guy but very light in color and his beard isn't as heavy as I would like to see. He could be a good start do you know what line he is from or if he is from a hatchery? I would ask for more information before bidding.

You can dowhat you want, but I see alot of faults in the roo. One thing is he size and comb. You really can't see the girls and sometimes pics are not good to determine buying something. Do you know what line they are out of?

Sorry, i thought they were bantams. Still pics don't always tell the truth.

If it was me, I would pass them up...I see too many flaws. The roo's comb, size and colors, not enough beard. The pullets they didn't impress me at all.

HEEHEE!! My pullet at the Pelican State Classic this weekend, photographed by my mom.

No other faverolles but my darker salmon pullet with all great lacing won BB and BV and the salmon cockerel won RV and then the best black pullet won RB and BV and another black pullet won RV.

I know, I know, I still havent gotten pics posted of the blacks but last weekend I left my camera card in moms camera and just got it back this weekend so I'll get them posted soon!!
