It is 18 degrees here and snow. My room is 54 degrees. Birds are in heaven. They have no clue how cold it is outside.

Ha ha thats great I bet they love how warm it is. Do they keep laying all winter in there?

Well, I'm officially out of bantam whites now. The cold did them in. I lost another 4 birds today(not faverolles today). The wind chill was around -25 last night and actual temps was a high of 8 today. The wind blew so bad the other night I have snow in all my buildings including ones that should NEVER get snow in them. There was even 6" of snow in my mail box, and the lid was closed tight.

Nope. Didn't get in touh with her but met johnathan Patterson at the shawnee show and me and another guy from here are splitting a batch. Or something like that. Cool thingidhe runs one of theuniversity poultry programs so can hatch Luke crazy so can fix problems quick. So there will be more of the sane blood close and it will be an improvement plan. He is a poultry madscientist/geneticist/reproductive specialist.

He's in the process of creating a LF silver sebright and is fixing to resurrect the lakenvelder. NEAT GUY!!! I've known him for a few months and have heard some craziness on projects!!
