Cindy,
Great pic's. Get the camera out again. I'd like to see a front pic of the bird on the bottom. Fav's look great in the snow...don't they!
I need to take pic's of my birds this week end.
Dick

the idea is a great one kassandra and one we all could help with.

i find the bear scarey, but there again i'm a wuss. however, was raised to shoot skeet, animals and people with the best. my fav is just not legal.....

Ha. I hate to ask your fav. I'm sure possibly very similar to mine!! Hahah.
Thanks Peter!! I guess while I'm preaching I need to be practicing so I'll go ahead and commit to donating $100 to the club. I'll specify later what awards I'd like these designated to.

Everyone doesn't even have to pay it all now or at one time. Maybe just byJuly or august so Leisha has time to get awards together.
Hope I'm not stepping on toes leisha.

First of all I am interseted in LF. I don't know what you have. I am about 20 miles SE of Scranton. About 1 hour ride to Delaware Water Gap.I only want about 4-5 hens. I just want nice pets, I don't need SQ.

I will have about a dz eggs hatch on the 28th. (Hopefully) I live in NE Indiana. I put them in the bator for a test/learning hatch for me. If you want and can't find any closer I could keep a couple girls for you. Let me know. I won't be able to tell you which roo is the sire. As I mentioned before this hatch is a learning hatch for me so the birds were not separated out.

Thanks, I am going to try to find some closer, but I'll keep it in mind.

Where in the NE corner? I'm in NJ. I just received my new incubator today and was thinking of trying out this hatching thing, since Leisha approved my two birds as worthy. They are very nice, but I could not promise SQ. I also was planning to have a few available for our spring show in Sussex Cty on May 21 this year.

mame1616, Thank you, that could possible work for me. I may have a wedding that weekend but I'd rather be there. Where could I find more info on the Sussex show?

Well, first I have to tell you that I only have bantams. I won't get my large fowl until I get some from Dick this summer, if everything hatches out. (Or else I'll just move in with him, and share his - ok, Dick?)

I'll start a thread in the Chickenstock/ Shows section probably near the end of Feb. with all the deets. But basically, it's about 9-3 - give or take, depending on the number of birds, last fall we had over 1100! - at the NJ State fairgrounds. Go to http://www.njstatefair.org/ for directions. We're still working on our own website, but we do have a FB page!

People going to Crossroads!! I wrote to the Powers That Be here and asked if they would be willing to rent a room at one of the host hotels for an "Official" meet and greet for BYC, because it's so hard to do during the show. They want me to start a thread asking for opinions on whether people would be interested, and whether they would be willing to buy a ticket - to help cover the cost of the room, etc. I'll be posting a link here when I get it set up. Thanks!

You are not stepping on my toes at all. I'm not the kind of person that likes to ask for money, but if you would like to do this for the National, that would be great.
