Faverolles Thread

Just thought I'd ask if anybody noticed that the club had an article in the last issue of Poultry Press? I had missed the deadline for November, but it was in the December issue, on page 30, not quite the LAST page! LOL Anyway, the info there is long outdated now for club members, but for those that aren't privy to all the club info, it's still relevant. I also submitted an article for the January issue, and intend to submit something every month, so the club has a presence there.

If anyone ever would like to take over writing for a month, please let me know, also if anyone has any ideas for future Poultry Press articles, I'd LOVE to hear them!!! I'm happy to keep doing the writing and submitting if someone wants to feed me some content ideas.

maybe some one could do an article on common defects in the breed and what usually causes them. i'd like to know which could be considered genetic or if it could just be nutritional related, and could those defects be passed down to other generations or be bred out eventually.

I like that idea...may have to tap into some of the long-time breeders for that stuff...thanks!! Keep the ideas coming!!!
