Faverolles Thread

n8tivetxn, If you are in the market for a broody I have one I might be willing to give up. My Araucana girls usually make great mothers. PM me if you are interested.

You should think about an incubator. I love mine.

Broodies are the best!

Thank you so much for the offer!... I think I should invest in the 'bator. I do have a couple of hens that go broody occasionally (yes, broodies rock!), it just isn't happening today, you know how it is

Hi There,
I am in Fredericksburg, VA. I have a small, beautiful flock of LF Salmon Fav's. we are NPIP and AI clean. I sell hatching eggs and chicks.

Greetings from Ky!

I am looking for a source of quality Salmon Faverolles LF, or bantams. I do not want to purchase hatchery birds, but sadly most breeders do not ship chicks. I have a VERY small incubator (7 eggs) and I am reluctant to buy hatching eggs as I couldn't stand to lose any fertile eggs with such a small incubator. Any suggestions? Thanks!

New to the forum here, and looking forward to learning much about this beautiful breed of chicken!

Hi i was wondering what do blue favorelles look like, they sound really pretty. I have a hen and a rooster i got from a good breeder they are not the best but I'm going to work with breeding them. Hopefully I'll get some nice chicks. They are bantam salmons. I'm going to put some eggs into a incubator I've made and perfected over the last week.
One last question are the whites hard to get.
Thanks in advance

Here are some of my faverolles--hen is from Cloverleaf eggs and rooster is a Merlin boy I was lucky enough to buy from achickonthehill. They have chicks 2 weeks old and more next week.

This is my broody ameraucana with the fave chicks.

Thanks! Cloverleaf will have chicks? I have been communicating with them via facebook. Hopefully, they will have a surplus and be willing to ship. Thanks again!
