Can some one tell me what you think about him I got him as a chick and I'm new to faverolle he's a bantam I'm not sure what to look for in the cockerels but in think the pullets look good

From the pics and comments I've seen on here I think he's a little bit light-colored but he looks gorgeous to me! I like the look of the lighter cockerels I've seen, especially one posted some time ago that was missing the standard black beard. I understand that breeding to darker hens will improve coloring on the roosters.

I would suggest using a light colored male to breed them with. The black ticking on the beard will cause coloring on the male hackles. But breeding the offspring pullets back to the father will help clean it up.

Thank you FVRM. I have lighter pullets currently only 5 2ks old.......I may keep these two just for eggs/pets depending on which cockerel I end up keeping.

"Elsa" the one in the background by the flowers has a very light beard/no dark. Both of them have very full beards. I will try to get full on face pics soon. I didnt take any more of Elsa because her beard was all wet lol (the other pics are of "Anna"

My 2 five week old pullets are VERY light. Almost white all the way down the beard tummy to the tail and legs..I love this but does anyone know if that is an issue as far as SQ standards?
