Chickens, like people, are individuals. There will always be some that are quiet and some that are noisy. Most of the Faverolles I have had over the years have been average noise wise. There is the occasional loudmouth, but definitely not a majority. Currently our loudest hens are a Minorca and Fav/EE mix in the kids' pet flock.Are faverolles girls a noisy breed? She's beautiful, soft, easy going, but LOUD!![]()
I should add, this isn't her egg song and I think she was excited about breakfast. Like super excited. For two hours. She LOVES food. I should have named her Ms. Piggy. She's pink like a pig, too! I just hope she 1) has a distinctly different song for something being wrong and 2) the neighbors don't mind. What a loud mouth!
