they all look wonderful Henry! you had better watch your mail deliveries during the next couple weeks or we'll be coming by to steal your new additions!
i have banty orp eggs coming!
lets hope i can work some colors into the favs. my dh is going to kill me when these come
guess i'll have to eventually let him know since our mail lady likes to leave shipped boxes on the deck but no where near the door or even knocks on it to let you know!
i got my BYC hoodie delivered last Friday but i didn't know it came. checked on saturday the status of it's delivery and it had been delivered on friday. it was dark out so i had to grab a flashlight and searched on the deck, noticed my recycle bin was no where near the door where it usually is so the box on top stuck out like a sore thumb once i found it. now i just need to add my faverolles patches!

Whoot I am glad your getting the eggs! My eggs from Rose Isgrig should arrive soon. I will be watching the mail carefully
I did alot of research on chickens before I decided on Salmon Faverolles. Of all the things I read, they do well in confined quarters(they'll have a covered run and allowed out when I can escort them)... I understand they do well in the cold, and are good natured, good layers and can be broody (which is fine if they'll hatch a few batches of chicks for me!). The fact that they're awful cute didn't help sway my decision!
I plan to only have Faves at this time.
My husband wanted meat birds, but my plan is to have eggs too, so I may get some black cornish, in a seperate pen, for the freezer....
