Faverolles Thread

To those interested in white bantams, I won't have any for sale this year. I will be hatching out every egg they lay. Next year I am going to try to hatch out at minimum, 150 whites so I may have a few pairs I can part with. It depends on their quality.

Rock N' Faverolles :

I just wanted to show a picture of a White Faverolles bantam hen that I used to have. I am getting my old birds back around April.

They were some of the tamest birds I've raised.

FINALLY!

After three attempts, this set of banty Favs was successful- I got 3 of 6. My daughter is so happy we finally have 'wizard' chickens (the giant beard) that she's researching wizard names for them...

so, for the female hens is she looking for sorceress names too? if you can find it there is a website i found a couple of years ago that had names from different cultures/countries, religions and famous stories, and it even had pet names too. one part had the different names from around the world for the King Arthur Legend and characters you don't normally hear about that made it into the movies. i always liked the name Morgan or Morgana.
