I would love to see forward tilt on my birds to but its so hard to breed for as it a structural part of the birds. I think the LF have it but bantams don't a lot of bantam males have the dropped wings.

Peter, thanks for the encouragement. Glad to know that I'm not the only one. Now to see what HE will turn out like so I'll know what to ask Leisha to bring me to the FAV NATIONAL!!!

Chickonthehill, I'm going to ask for Dick's help here. I haven't had btms of any variety for years. What I was striving for with these peter creations was a true minature fav. Note she didn't have the lacing that even my lf carry now. She was a cross from a mixed btm hen and lf male I got as a chick from Duane Urch. BUT, I really like the type for either lf or btm. Toes could have been better. I showed her once as a pullet @ lucasville and she was bb by Bart Pals.the other btm showers/owners were NOT happy. i didn't show her again but did breed from her. And, of course, being from the south her comb could be less. Other than those few qualities I always thought she was a pretty girl. Topline, yea. If i were to want for another thing with the look of a hen I like to see more of a forward tilt in the front of the bird. Dick and I have recently talked about the forward tilt. I shall have to go deeper into archives to maybe find such. Oh and I do like to see these days a beard and muff that can blind a bird... not something i had the luxury of having back then. But i do now! -)

Thank you Peter that is very helpful! I think Emmet will have to stay in KY for a while longer though.
