I would love to see forward tilt on my birds to but its so hard to breed for as it a structural part of the birds. I think the LF have it but bantams don't a lot of bantam males have the dropped wings.

Henry

You're correct Henry. I bred my btms at that time to the APA standard which didn't recognize the lacing. That didn't come about till '97. Thanks for the compliments.

Leisha, very pretty girls.
peter

Thanks for the info I think the lacing was a great addition to the standard.

Sometimes silly is quite necessary to hold onto sanity! Didn't you also dabble in equines at some point - not raising them but riding them? Seems there are lots of equine enthusiasts who also love chickens.

Way to go Peter! If you can't have fun it's not worth it! I know I post sometimes and then think it may be interpretted wrong when it's just a poor attempt at silly humor on my part. Your post almost sounds like you're apologizing for offending someone. Hopefully noone is too overly sensitive on this thread. Me?..... I'm here to look at pretty birds, learn everything I can, take the advice I ask for and occasionally wisecrack on someone who... I don't know... Gets grounded or something. You know who you are!.... There I go again!

Sorry to butt in, but I thought someone might be interested to know...when I clicked on this I got one of those info bars that said this website is in Dutch, do you want google toolbar to translate? I clicked yes, and voila, i could read it! I tried it again, and did not have to re-click, it just translated it again. I think some one a few pages back was having trouble with another thread, maybe this would help.

Thank you Peter. I know we got off on the wrong foot, but Dick and yours opinion of my birds are very important. I ask Dick alot for advice. I know I am headed in the right direction with them, but a little confidence helps alot. Up until I took over the club, noone except for a couple people would help you with trying to breed to the standard. So your compliments on my girl is very much accepted.
