Laurieks, the Marans/Fav birds are excellent as well. I've had a couple of those in the freezer and have another growing now.

mom's vetoing the pair of Silver Penciled rock chicks i have down stairs out side... i am gonna be chickless untill the fav hen starts laying... those bantam cochins had better laying soon to. <Going though chick with drawl syndrome...it's a never ending cycle

I am looking for a LF Salmon Fav rooster. I got a trio about a year ago, and the last couple of months my roo has been sick. After much effort, medication, and TLC, poor Hoot died in his sleep two nights ago. He was absolutely stunning and I am so sad that he died. Now I have to lonely girls and would like to find another rooster, and possibly pullets, to go with them. Does anybody know where I could find one? I'm in West GA and am willing drive.
